Privacy Policy

FutureBatao ("we", "us", "the Service") provides astrology guidance at futurebatao.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account details - your email address and name, used to create and secure your account (login is via one-time codes sent to your email).
• Birth and profile details you choose to share - date, time and place of birth, gender, zodiac sign, relationship details. These are used solely to personalise your readings. They are optional.
• Questions and conversations - messages you send to our AI astrologer or to human astrologers, and the readings generated for you. We store these so you can revisit them and so your consultations have continuity.
• Photos you upload - palm or face photos, only if you use those reading features. These are deleted from our servers as soon as your reading has been generated, whether the reading succeeded or failed. We do not keep them, and we do not use them to train anything. The reading itself - the text - is saved to your account so you can revisit it.
• Payment information - payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive and store the order amount, status, and reference IDs.
• Technical data - standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and troubleshooting.

We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay; we receive only the amount, status and reference ID.

2. How we use your information

• To generate your readings and consultations - including sharing the question and relevant birth details you provide with our AI processing partners (see section 3).
• To operate your account: login codes, payment confirmation, replies from astrologers, and important service notices by email.
• To prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud checks) and to improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your birth details or conversations for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share data with

We share the minimum needed with service providers who help us run FutureBatao:

• AI providers (Anthropic; OpenAI for photo-based readings) - receive the content of your question, relevant profile details, and uploaded photos in order to generate the reading.
• Razorpay - processes payments.
• Zoho - delivers our emails (login codes, notifications).
• Human astrologers on our platform - see the conversations you have with them and the name on your profile.
• Authorities, if required by law.

4. Data retention & your rights

• Your account data and consultation history are kept while your account is active.
• You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing contact@futurebatao.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g. payment records).
• You can edit your profile details anytime in Account → Settings.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Security

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Codes are six digits, expire after 5 minutes, are accepted once, and lock after 5 incorrect attempts. If you choose to set an optional password, it is stored only as a salted one-way hash (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256) - we cannot read it or recover it for you.

Sessions use signed tokens, and payments are signature-verified with Razorpay.

Because your login is your email inbox, whoever controls that inbox can access your FutureBatao account. Please keep it secured. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above.
