Refund Policy
We want you to feel good about every purchase. This policy explains when refunds are available for FutureBatao purchases. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. What you're buying
FutureBatao sells readings — digital consultations delivered instantly by our AI astrologer or asynchronously by human astrologers — via one-time packs and monthly plans. Because readings are digital services consumed on delivery, they are treated differently from physical goods.
2. When you are eligible for a refund
- Unused purchases: if you bought a pack or plan and have used none of its readings, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
- Partially used plans/packs: we may refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis, at our discretion, within 7 days of purchase.
- Technical failures: if you were charged but readings were not credited, or a reading failed to generate and your balance was still deducted, tell us — we will restore the readings or refund that amount in full. (Our system is designed not to charge for failed readings, but if it ever happens, we fix it.)
- Duplicate payments: refunded in full, automatically where we detect them.
- No reply from a human astrologer: if a human astrologer does not reply to your question within 72 hours, the reading used for that question will be re-credited on request.
3. What is not refundable
- Readings already delivered (an answer was generated or an astrologer replied) — regardless of whether you agree with or like the content of the reading.
- Dissatisfaction with a prediction's accuracy or outcome. As set out in our Terms, readings are guidance for reflection and entertainment; no outcome is guaranteed.
- The 5 complimentary readings on new accounts (they're free).
- Purchases on accounts suspended for abuse or fraud.
4. How to request a refund
- Email billing@futurebatao.com from your registered email, with the payment reference (visible in Account → Invoices) and the reason.
- We respond within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 business days (bank timelines may vary).
5. Cancelling a monthly plan
Plans are 30-day purchases, not auto-renewing subscriptions — we do not charge you again automatically. To stop using a plan, simply don't renew. Refunds for the current period follow section 2.
