Revati is the last of the twenty-seven, the final degrees of Pisces, and its deity is Pushan, who protects travellers, finds lost things, and knows every road. The symbol is a pair of fish swimming in the ocean of everything that came before. Revati is the end of the journey, and it is the gentlest place in the sky.

The Symbol and Its Story

Pushan is the herdsman of the gods, the guardian of roads and journeys, the finder of lost cattle and lost people, and the one who leads souls safely on the last road of all. He is toothless in the myth, having lost his teeth at Daksha's sacrifice, and eats only soft food, which is oddly perfect for a deity of gentleness. Revati means 'the wealthy' or 'the abundant', and its symbol is a pair of fish, swimming in opposite directions in the same water. It sits at the very end of the zodiac, and everything that ends here is being nourished on its way out rather than judged.
